Connect Discord and show your status on maybio

Link your Discord account

Register with Discord or link it later in “Connections”. Authorize the account you want to display. Linking identifies your account; sharing status and activity requires a separate step.

In “Your profile”, choose your Discord avatar as your main image. You can also show your Discord name and username in a card, with a banner if your account has one.

Enable status and activity with your permission

Presence displays online, idle, do not disturb or offline status, and any activity Discord allows you to share. It refreshes about every 15 seconds while your profile is visible. This feature is free.

1. Join the community server through maybio’s Discord link and complete any server access steps.
2. Use /presencia accion:activar with the same Discord account linked to maybio.
3. Keep “Show Discord account” enabled in the editor and publish your changes.
4. Open your published profile. To withdraw permission, use /presencia accion:desactivar in the server.

Why “Status unavailable” may appear

This means maybio could not obtain a valid status, not necessarily that you are offline. Check that you are in the server, have enabled presence and used the same account as the one linked to your profile.

If your account appears without an activity, you may not be sharing one or Discord may not be sending it. maybio does not invent activity when it receives no data. If your status is still missing, ask for help in our Discord.

Refresh your avatar and banner

After changing your picture in Discord, open “Connections” and press “Refresh Discord avatar and banner”. Authorize the same account again to fetch current details. The banner only appears if your account has one and “Show Discord banner” is enabled.

Discord’s public API does not share your “About me” text through this integration. Copy it into your maybio bio if you want to use it. Linking Discord does not automatically copy every profile detail.

Choose what is shown

Disable “Show Discord account” and publish to hide the card. To stop sharing presence through the bot, use the deactivation command. Hiding the card and withdrawing presence permission are separate controls.
